Rosanne Hodge nets best event result for 2008

Rosanne Hodge, the sole South African on the 2008 ASP Women’s World Tour, recorded her best event result of the year at the Billabong Pro Maui despite narrowly losing out to former seven-time World Champion Layne Beachley (AUS) in the first Quarterfinal match-up this morning. Rosy Hodge Scores a Fifth Place at Reef Hawaiian Pro, Requalifies for 2009 World Tour!

East London-born World Tour surfer Rosy Hodge placed a well-deserved fifth-place in the Reef Hawaiian Pro to secure her berth on the Women’s World Tour for 2009. At the time of going to press Rosy was sitting a very comfortable third place on the World Qualifying Series ratings, and is a confirmed starter on the 2009 tour.
